Your enthusiastic hosts include lifelong educators, middle and high school teachers, and total YA reading book nerds. For almost five years this underground book club of adults who read young adult literature has kept all the joy of YA literature to ourselves, meeting in bars each month to share our love of this genre. We know the magic of finding the right book for the right kid, and as adults we continue to find those books together.
The current school closure crisis makes us want to share this magic with all of you. We will provide a rapid-fire 45-minute session to book talk new books each week. The trick to keeping teens reading in a closure is knowing what you need to recommend.
